Niger banned exports of diesel and premium petrol in a bid to address fuel supply challenges that the country has been facing in recent days, the ministry of trade and industry said in a statement on its Facebook page. Domestic production of diesel and premium petrol is primarily intended to supply the domestic market, the statement said.
声明补充称，只有在通过国营尼日尔石油公司（SONIDEP）和中国控股的津达炼油公司（SORAZ）的销售出现柴油和高标号汽油盈余时，才允许出口，且需持特殊许可证。
Exports will only be allowed in the event of surpluses of diesel and premium petrol through sales by state-run Société Nigérienne de Pétrole SA (SONIDEP) and China-controlled Société de Raffinage de Zinder (SORAZ) subject to special license, the statement added.
